How hourly wage and salary convert
Yearly pay equals hourly wage times hours per week times weeks per year. Weekly pay is hourly wage times hours per week, biweekly pay is twice that, and monthly pay is yearly pay divided by 12. To go the other way, hourly wage equals yearly salary divided by hours per week times weeks per year. A full-time year of 40 hours for 52 weeks is 2,080 hours.
